Often when sharing information with clients and prospects, there is need to receive feedback and work collaboratively. ProteusEngage encourages such collaboration through the use of annotation tools that allow contacts to provide feedback without altering the original document. Contacts can provide comments and mark up any file that is added to the workspace, and the user will be notified of any changes that are made.

File types that are allowed in this module include, but are not limited to:

  • Text based documents- .doc, .css, .xls, .txt, .docx
  • Presentations- .ppt, .pptx, .gslides, .odp
  • Images- .ai, .gif, .eps, .jpeg, .pdf, .png, .ps, .psd, .tif,

The process for you or your team member is just as simple as adding any other file, just choose the module called "Inline Document with Annotation".

Your contacts can then get into the workspace, as usual, and will see a file in-line on the feed. They will then see a few icons (as highlighted in the screenshot below):

The pencil icon will allow them to actually write directly onto the document as though using a writing utensil, as shown inside the yellow box below:

The comment box icon, will allow them to add comments over top of the document, as though they are adding a virtual post-it note to the document:

Once posted, it will show as just small blue comment icon as shown here:

With the ability for others to add replies to the comment when they press on the icon after it is posted as shown above.

The other two icons allow them to print or download the file.

Note: This feature is viewable on desktop only.
